Tanesha obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management, both from Syracuse University. Throughout her career, she has focused on program development and delivery, from childhood education to college student support services. Notably, she served as the Director of School Based Programs for Coordinated Care Services in Syracuse, where she oversaw a staff of 90 executing two major programs with a combined budget of $6M. Most recently, Tanesha served as the Executive Director of the Rocky Mount Region of Communities in Schools of North Carolina, serving over 1,200 students across 24 sites.
Tanesha lives outside Raleigh, NC with her husband and three children. She is energetic, strategic, grounded, and generous. Tanesha is passionate about mentorship and advocacy, spending time outside of professional roles serving on the boards of two organizations focused on supporting underrepresented young men and women.

Tommy was a varsity wrestler at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he met Sindhura Citineni, the Founder of Nourish International. Sindhura’s passion for the Nourish mission was infectious and Tommy soon became a Co-Founder. His experiences with Nourish include helping launch the UNC chapter, fundraising to incorporate Nourish as a 501(c)3, and serving as a member of Nourish’s inaugural Board of Directors. Tommy went on to obtain his JD/MBA from Duke University. He had a successful career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company before leaving to found Tom & Jenny’s, a candy company that creates natural, sugar-free and tooth-friendly candies. Today, Tommy serves as Nourish’s Board Chair and, together with Sindhura, is raising their two children in Durham, NC. Hetali is a law student at the University of Michigan, focused on education law and advocacy. Previously, she led Communications and Community at VentureLab, a nonprofit that provides entrepreneurship and technology education programs for K-12 classrooms. In college, she had several working experiences that built her understanding of social justice issues, as well as the potential that entrepreneurial solutions have to address these challenges worldwide. She first served as Nourish-UNC’s Ventures Co-Chair, co-launching the Sprout produce delivery business, then served was Co-President, growing both revenue and savings. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in Chemistry and Public Policy, and she is incredibly excited to give back to the organization that gave her so much. Ray has been involved with Nourish for over 4 years; serving on the Board and as part of the Finance committee. Currently, he works as the Sr. Manager of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. Prior to AICPA, Ray worked at the Clinton Foundation, Deloitte, and as a business consultant at Bearing Point. He has extensive international experience having worked in Qatar, Colombia, Peru, and Saudi Arabia throughout his career. Additionally, he earned an MBA from ESADE Business School with an exchange in China Europe International Business School in Shanghai, China. Chelsea is a senior, studying Mathematical Biology at the University of Houston. She is the Co-Founder of the Nourish-University of Houston (UH). She is also a student representative of the Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM) with the UH Student Government Association. She also works with the dean’s office and the student leadership in NSM to improve the student experience. Furthermore, she is Chair of the NSM Service Scholars which is an initiative started and backed by the NSM college to encourage students to create programs in the community in order to build up and give back to Houston. Also, she is Vice Chair of the Student Life Committee which is tasked with improving student life for all students, while also serving as a student representative on the UH Sustainability Task Force which works alongside the Office of Sustainability. Likewise, she is a student leader with UH Cougars Assist Relief Efforts and Service (CARES) which was an effort created by University Deans to coordinate students’ effort to help with the after-effects of Hurricane Harvey. She has a desire to help where she thinks she can and has an immense passion for education and ensuring the equal access of quality education for all. Akram completed his BS in Bio-Engineering from The Ohio State University and his MS in Healthcare Technologies Management from Marquette University and The Medical College of Wisconsin. He now works as a Clinical Engineering Manager at TRIMEDX in Milwaukee, WI. Akram joined Nourish in 2012 at Ohio State and in his final year in undergrad, he co-led the team to become the most profitable chapter. His experience with Nourish includes implementing a water security project in India and facilitating cohort workshops at Nourish leadership conferences. He currently serves as the Chair of the Partnerships Committee on the Nourish Board. The countless life and leadership skills he has learned through Nourish drive him to be a global citizen and to lead with integrity.
Kylie has been involved with Nourish International since her freshman year at Syracuse University. She served as the SU chapter secretary from 2017 – 2018 and chapter president from 2018-2019. Kylie is majoring in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education and minoring in Disability Studies and Policy. SU has also allowed her to teach English to those in the Syracuse City community and work closely with InclusiveU, an ability-inclusive higher education program. Kylie is passionate about equitable education, dance, hiking, all that Nourish International is, and her new teaching opportunity in Brooklyn, New York.
Musab is currently serving the role of Co-Communications Chair and has been involved with Nourish a little over 6 years, serving as a Human Resources Director Chair and President at The Ohio State University. He is currently working as a Senior Operations Analyst at Yelp while residing in Arizona. Musab graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering. In his free time, he loves to travel, play basketball, going to concerts, reading, and hiking. |
